I am trying to copy/extract row of data from worksheet(Detail)A:W to worksheet(1st Letter) if X=1st Letter on worksheet(Detail). I have never used VBA and i am not sure if this can be done with a formula. Any help would be great

Hello joeycrak,
Your post is not clear. In the title you mention a "Drop Down List" and then in your post you mention checking the cell in column "X". Is each cell in column "X" linked to it's own data validation drop down list or something else? Please explain.
