Creating a year to date transformation

I am looking to create a year-to-date transformation for data. I have two columns with a date in A and a data point (sales) in column B. I am looking to create a Year-to-date value by month, so Jan=Jan, Feb=Jan + Feb, Mar=Jan+Feb+Mar etc...

We really need to see the actual workbook in order to offer a definitive answer. But for example assuming your January sales are in B2 then in C2 copied down
