Average of cells in range if there is a date

This is a little bit hard to explain...

I am looking to take the average of cells in column B for a range of cells that is within the date range in column A, for example

Need to take the average of B3:B6 and report the average in cell C7, and then average B8:B9 and report into C10, and this needs to continue for 1000 some rows.

Any help appreciated.

Try the following. You will need to add "end" or some other indicator in the row after the last piece of information.
