Inventory management, construct receipt based on product code

Hello, i'm fresh new to excel, i'm watching a lot of tutorials to learn but i decided to try some help here as i'm running out of time

What i need is for my father's company, i promised him i would make it for him

A rough stock control with this model (added manually):

product code | product name | product price | product amount |

And then when my father makes a sale, he would like to just quickly type somewhere: Client's name, all product's code and amount from this sale, and excel would create the receipt, adding the product name, single price, quantity, total price of product, and total of all products in the end , after that he would print two copies and give one to his client.

the problem is that i'm not sure if excel is the right program to do this, as I need to print the receipt for the client.

by receipt i assume you mean invoice

what you are asking for is actually several tasks compiled into one
suggest you take step by step approach into your end game

i did help other member previously to get them started with it...but they kind of stopped replying so it is rather incomplete

things you need to add to my example
with invoice macro...add print invoice twice
some sort of checking of inventory level before invoicing
some sort of deducting of inventory when invoicing

oh and you need some sort of receipting screen as well for incoming stock...also think of how you want to add new item codes?...discontinue as well?

Sorry for the late reply, been very busy lately.

I have never heard of the term Invoice, but now that you mentioned it it got easier to search for tutorials.
