Macro involving Objects

Hi all!!

I am creating a form with different objects (checkbox and option button). I create a code with the idea that if you select a button or a checkbox, you obtain different results (if/then statement).

The problem is, that is not working. The first time I execute the macro, I obtained some values, but when I try changing the options and execute again the macro, doesn't update the results.

I have tried using activex and form control objects, however even using different codes I have the same problem.

Can you help me?

Attached is the file with the exercise.

Re: Macro involving Objects

Hello pau_2d2,

The problem with the Check Boxes is you did not assign the correct cell to the Linked Cell property. Not sure what selecting an Option Button should do.
Sincerely,
Leith Ross

Remember To Do the Following....

1. Use code tags. Place
before the first line of code and
after the last line of code.

i'm not sure either how this file is supposed to work, its vague what you want to occur...
but i tried correcting the syntax of the ranges t2 and t3 in the SmileyFace1_Click command, then something started happening... lol

Re: Macro involving Objects

Hi ag273n thanks a lot for your help!! I understand now the syntax problem. The idea of the file, not this one, but the real file i am working on, is having a form that when you select some options/check boxes you have a msjbox with different answers.

Regarding the activeX control, do you have any idea why it doesnt work? I need to change anything in the properties of the objects?
