Cannot click on ListBox after Startup

Every time I start this Excel file, I could not click on those listboxes. However, if I enable then disable Design Mode, I can click on them.

Is there a way I don't need to enable/disable Design Mode every time at startup? See below for the code:

The reason for this is I am writing a script to query data from a list of files. This is a template file in which the script will put data on it and save it with different file name monthly. Soon, I will code those to filter data. I know about pivot tables, but I need to make custom filters and make it more user friendly for other people who use it.

    At startup:

Hi vxs and welcome to the forum,

Are you aware that the newer version of Excel have Slicer Tools for Pivot Tables that look to be a duplicate of what you are trying to accomplish?

Thanks for quick reply! Unfortunately, all PCs at my work uses Office 2007 so I can't use Slicer tool.

Why don't you just repopulate the controls at startup rather than recreating them each time?

Could you please show me how to do that? I am still new to VBA and just started learning two weeks ago.
