Bulk find/replace

Hope someone can help me out...

there are other threads like this but I can't figure it out. Here my issue.

I Have 3200 values in column A that next to them In column B I want to replace them with and then also search the entire sheet and replace. If that sounds confusing let me give a brief example

A~~~~~~~~~~~B
1.1.1.1 fox
2.2.2.2 mouse
3.3.3.3 bird
4.4.4.4 tiger


A and B are mirror of each other, and I don't really care if we Change column B it's just a place holder, but within the entire sheet I have the "B" values and I want to replace them entirely with the corresponding "A" value. Column "A" are all IP addresses and Column "B" is a mix of alphanumeric. I want to replace the entire contents with the IP not only a set number of characters.
Thanks in advance, I'm not a programmer by any means so dumbing it down is great

Thanks John. You are a life saver. That did exactly what I needed. It Took the 3200 cells in Column B, converted it to the value next to it in Column A, then searched the entire sheet and replaced any reference of the Column B cells values with the new ones from A. I know this was hard to explain and still probably is, LOL. but it did what I needed. I owe you a big beer. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!
