Importing text file to excel 2013

Hi

I want to import a space delimited text file into an excel worksheet. The excel worksheet has a cell in which the user inputs the date. This date is used to search for the text file in the file location C:\Users\Documents\VS Statistics\1a where there are many files which are named in this format: voucher_usage_08-04-2014.txt . I am looking for a macros code which does this. The code which I had come up with is failing.
