referring to another workbook in a macro

Hello,

I have a problem with obtaining data from another workbook in my macro. I'm using the code like below (fragment) and it works perfectly only if I manually open workbook amplico.xls before running the macro. If I don't it brings me an error "run time error 424 - object required". How can I make my macro working without opening amplico.xls before?
