    Re: Encoding-Decoding

    Hi Shg,

Thank you so much for the responce. That is OK.But my requirement is by using excel macro i need to encode the workbook contents and after Decode the contents of the excel workbook contents...after encoding other users should be able to read the contents (Encoded contents). But should not be able to understand the contrents...If the user or other user After entering the Decode password the user should be able read/Modify the originala content of the workbooks..

    Re: Encoding-Decoding

Why? That's so much more insecure -it's a huge amount of work and for no practical benefit since anyone could simply read the code and undo it.

    Re: Encoding-Decoding

    Thanks Kyle123,

But as per your concern is this more insecure ...i understood..But we need to send and receive more secure contents .So only am wondering..If im put password means ..people will get the password from collegues and read/Modify the data easily...But is this possible through excel VBA..Let me know for any questions..

    Thanks
