Unzip .gz file with VBA

Hello, I am trying to unzip a .gz file with Excel VBA, but the methods posted from Bruin are not working:

did you try to rename your ".gz" file to ".zip" and run the code again?

Anyway, I download the file also with excel, so i just save it as a .zip

If you have a lot of gz files to unzip you could run a macro to rename the file extensions from .gz to .zip before running your unzip macro
