    Personal.xlsb Macro Naming Format

    Hello Everyone,

I've started setting up some macros in my Personal.xlsb file and I'm having an issue with the naming format. Everything looks good in VBA but when I'm in Excel and I go to Developer -> Macros and see the list of macros, the names are duplicated. For example, if I have a macro named "Macro_Friday", it shows up as "PERSONAL.XLSB!Macro_Friday.Macro_Friday".

Does anyone know what is causing and how to get rid of the ".Macro_Friday" at the end?

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Personal.xlsb Macro Naming Format

Sorry Everyone - I just figured it out on my own. It was happening because my Module name and Macro name were the same. For example, the macro "Macro_Friday" was in a module named "Macro_Friday". I'm not sure why Excel would cause this to change the name but thats the issue...
