I'm in a bit over my head on this one and hoping that somebody can help me out. I'm not quite sure where to start on this...
The situation is that I receive analytical testing laboratory reports that I need to extract data from and put into an Excel data report table. There can be a sizable number of samples in each of these reports that I receive, so inputting numbers by hand is time consuming and also prone to errors.
What I want to do is take the results for each of the compounds for each of the samples in the file generated by the lab and have those numbers be entered into the final table under the correct sample ID and compound.
I've included some samples of what the input files are that I'm dealing with look like, and sort of an amended version of the final product (there are many more columns). I'm just hoping that someone can get me started and I can make any little modifications to include all the data as necessary.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
