Macro to Copy Master Worksheet create and paste in new auto named worksheet

Hello,
I am trying to create a macro button that will copy my master worksheet, create a new worksheet named with the current month, day, and year (example: Jan_5_2014). I need it to then paste special formatting and values from the master worksheet into the new month sheet and clear the master worksheet data while leaving the master worksheet locked and it's formulas intact. I also need the macro to stop with an error box if someone tries adding two worksheets with the same date name.

Help please.

I was recording a macro and trying to insert a new hard-coded date but couldn't figure out how to get it to use both subs.
