how to copy a cell value and place in another non empty cell of same column

I have a cell value in "E5". I need to paste the "E5" value in all Non- empty cells of column E from "E7", checking for cells from "E7" if they contain a value ex: (X) if yes paste E5 value else leav it blank.


This continues to each column "F5", "G5" etc til the column is empty



Any suggestions

Do you want to place value of E5 in all the columns or E5 in E col., F5 in F col. G5 in G col. etc? Which is the last column in your workbook? So it would be better if you upload a sample workbook with enough sample data in it to let us know your exact requirement.

I have attached the sheet. In cell E4 I have value "100001" . I want to paste this value in all the cells of Column "E" that has value "X"

Likewise value of "F4" in all cells of column "F" that has "X".

it is possible to have all these values in a single column... Please find the image.. Like having everything in column "L"..
