How do I add/insert a column that contains the number 1 for all the excel lines ? If there are 100 lines, I want to insert a column containg the number 1 in each of the 100 lines.

Simplest way: Enter 1 in cell A1. Copy. Select range A2:A100. Paste.
Is 100 rows your actual requirement, or are you going to reply and say "That's great, but what I really want is 374,000 rows?!" :D
