can someone tell me how to have a cell take the results of another cell and add 20% to those results. I tried writing =G12+20% but this did nothing...
Tried 1.2*G12 seemed to work!
Glad you figure it out
I also use that way but you could try your way as:
Formula:
=G12*(1+20%)
So you can visually see it's 20% adding
Never use Merged Cells in Excel
