Today is my first day using excel so bear with me that the table has not been posted correctly in this question. In the excel 2007 spreadsheet I entered the above formula into four cells. The initial cell I entered the formula into showed the answer as zero with a diagonal slash through it. The other three cells showed the answer as being zero. My query is what is the meaning of zero with a slash and why would it appear in one cell as the answer to a formula but not in another cell using the exact same formula?
