Can't auto copy..pls help!!

Hi...I'm new user for this forum.

It's my first time here. I have problem of excel and need anyone to help or clarify my doubt.

I got problem for Excel. Normally, when you key some text in column such key "Excel" in cell A1,
then you wanna key "Excel" in cell A2, you can just only type "E" and the program will help you to show word "Excel"
so you don't have to write whole word, you can just enter and it's done.

But now this function disappear. When I type "E" , there is no any word shown auto. I have to retype whole word again. I don't know why.

I'm not sure if you do understand my problem. Sorry for my poor English.

Anyway, If anyone pls kindly help...what should I do?

I'm using office version 2007

1.Click the Office button and then click the Excel Options button.

The Excel Options dialog box appears.

2.Click the Advanced tab.

The Advanced options appear in the right pane.

3.Click the Enable AutoComplete for Cell Values check box in the Editing Options section to remove its check mark.

4.Click OK.

Based on your last post it seems that you are satisfied with the solution(s) you've received but you haven't marked your thread as SOLVED.
