    Auto Complete/Auto Fill address field

    Hi,

Each day I fill out several forms, where one section is a address field, and that there are only approx 5 different combinations they could be. It would be so much easier if I could simplify this step. I am trying to see if there is a way to Auto Complete/Auto fill address in by using a ALT or CTR command or even by typing in a pre-defined set of letters, so that t would fill in that section. I have attached a sample if this is helpful

    Good morning moates

Why not have another box for customer number?
You can then have a database of customer numbers and addresses, and use a VLOOKUP formula to retrieve the full address?

    Hi moates

Have you considered data validation? Go to Data > Data Validation and in the Allow Box, set it to list. In the source box either a range which contains the first line of your address, or a comma seperated list (eg address1,address2,address3) followed by OK. This will give you a dropdown with those options in it.

    Hi,

You can use, AutoCorrectOptions (available in excel2003).
This will help you even if you write only 5 letters of the address.

Try this and let us know, if it works.
