Ctrl-C, move left, then Ctrl-V

Thanks Trevor, But I am looking for a "Drag" option, something similar to CTRL+R. I am quite sure there is some combination, that gives out the desired result without copy and paste option.
Regards,
if you want to copy to the left using "drag", hover the mouse over the bottom right corner of the cell you want to copy until it changes from a big cross to a small cross, hold the left mouse button and drag it to the left
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

yogags,
do one thing, put =right(the cell). Then enter. Paste formula to the required cell, you are done !!
durga_ikon, unless i misunderstood you, all that will do is give you the last character on the right for that cell?
he is asking for the same, he want the right data in left cell which copy pasting it. he can simply try pasting these formula and get rid of copy pasting repeatedly
