hi everyone

first off i apologise if i am posting this in the wrong area as this is my first question

i am having a little bit of trouble with my formatting

i want to create a cell format so that the following text

70.1
A12-10
A1-9.1
A1.1
50

converts to

<70.1>
<A12-10>
<A1-9.1>
<A1.1>
<50>

as you can see i would like the formatting to add the brackets and bold the font and change it to red

but when i try to do so i can't seem to create a format where it works for all the combinations, what i mean it that the formatting that i put is not universal and will either leave a . or something

is there anyway that i can set the formatting so that it works?
