    creating home budget

Been a long time since I've done this, but I know it can be done....I have my take home pay in a cell (b3)....I want to put the formula in each cell for what % of my income that expense is.....

so I put =(b8/b3) and that works for that cell....how can I just insert that formula changing the b8 to whatever cell it is automatically?

relative cell? I'm a bit confused but know this is easy to do...

Hello & Welcome to the Board,

Not sure I'm following your request 100%, but how about this (adjust cell to meet your needs).

    =B4/$B$3

Switch between relative, absolute, and mixed references

    Re: creating home budget

The columns are missing...but what I want to do is find out what % of my income is spent on each item...without typing in =(b8/b3) then going to next cell and doing =(b9/b3),, then -b10/b3)....there's a way to copy or repeat that command to divide the cell by b3 in each cell without typing in the command in each cell??? did I say that right?
