Corrupt / Encrypted Data

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with what I hope is a simple problem to fix for those in the know. I believe I have in advertedly pressed some wrong keys which has rendered my daughter's homework into "gobbaldly gook". Does anyone what Keys I need to press to get her homework looking normal. Below is an extract of what we now see .... I believe her homework was using the graphs functions within Excel.

Doesn't look like a excel file.

Looks more like a web page. If you change the .xls to .htm and open in a browser you will see references to myspace.com and skype.

Sure your daugther was using excel and not Office live or google docs
