Use Find and Replace to delete all hyphens, and then Format > Cells > Number, Special, Phone Number

Try:
="("&REPLACE(A1,4,1,")")
where A1 contains original number.
You can then copy this column and go to original column, and then Edit|Paste Special and select Values.... then delete the helper column of formulas

How to mark a thread Solved
Go to the first post
Click edit
Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
Click Save
