Linked cells between worksheets showing 0-Jan

I have linked cells in a second worksheet to a first one to automatically fill the date I'd enter in the first worksheet.

My pb is that when there is no date entered in the first sheet, the corresponding cell in the 2nd worksheet shows "0-Jan". How can I turn this off to show a blank cell?

    Thanks a ton!

    Hi,

    Something like this?

    =IF(Sheet2!A1="","",Sheet2!A1)
    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1
