Problem using time and formulas with a form

I want to click a command button on a form and populate a cell with a time stamp in HH:MM format, AND have it show in a text box next to the button.

Well, actually two buttons, one for start, one for stop.

Then I want to have the worksheet calculate the elapsed time and show that on the form in the same HH:MM format.

The problems I'm encountering:

1)The form overwrites the formula the way I have it set up.
2)I can't get the time to be shown on the form in the HH:MM format
