Pasting text with line breaks into Excel 2000?

Hi,

Is it possible to paste text that has line breaks into Excel 2000?

For example:

Blah
Blah2
Blah3

I've tried format/cells/alignment/word wrap and Edit/paste special=>text and Edit/paste special=>unicode text

Is this something that this particular version just can't do?

edit: Sorry, forgot to add that I want it to look like a spreadsheet afterwards, without all the cells being deformed by the largish quantities of text that I want to paste in :-)
