    Navigating the formula box

    Hi,

This has been driving me crazy. If I am entering a formula for conditional formatting, any time I press any button to move the cursor (like an arrow, home, end, etc.), it thinks I am trying to select a cell and boots me out of where I am trying to type. This means that I can't make any mistakes or I have to delete everything and restart. There must be some way of editing the typed formula without selecting unwanted cells, right?

    Thanks

    Figured it out

I just discovered that you can press F2 to go into "edit mode" like you can in the worksheet itself.

You can also just click in the formula bar and edit from there.
