    Find & Replace Template

    Hi Guys

    Brand new to the forum so be gentle please

    I get monthly worksheets with long lists of numbers which correspond to employee names. I would like to create a sheet which (when the numbers are copied and pasted into it) will replace automatically the numbers with the relevant employee name.

    I know I could do this every month with the find and replace but there are 250 employees and this would take me a long time.

    I'm quite new to this so am obviously missing something.

    If anyone can help this would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    You need to create a list with the number in column 1 and the employee name in column 2, and then reference the list in a VLOOKUP function. See the attached.

    Does that work for you?
