How do you automatically repeoduce text in several worksheets at once?

Hi.

I am having to produce a manifest each day which has to be reproduced differently in different work sheets. For example, in one column it would have peoples name, another their *** and another their cabin numbers etc. Is there a way that when I create the original, that it reproduces it in the correct columns in another worksheet? At present I am having to copy and paste several times in order to achieve this. I am only a kind of basic user of Excel with only a slight knowledge of functions etc, but have no idea how to create macros, if this is the way to go.

Would appreciate any help with this so it would save me a lot of work each morning!!!

You should be able to do this with very basic formulas. Althouigh I can never understand why usewrs feel the need to duplicate data.

For further help I think you need to attach a small example of the layout, note that you need to zip it.

I have figured out how to do this now.

There is a real need to duplicate this data. I work on a dive boat. First of all the passenger manifest is created and from this the list of names needs to be copied to another sheet which is used as a dive log sheet that records all the divers activities. Their names also have to be copied to a sheet that they have to sign when they get back on the boat with no intention of returning to the water so we can see at a glance who is on the boat and who isn't and finally those names are copied to another sheet that list where all the divers equipment is postioned on the dive deck so we can ensure they get the correct ly sized equipment. So you can now see I hope a real need here to duplicate data.
