Find value for a cell that meets a condition?

    Hello.

I have cell A1. A1 is used in functions in the cells B1 and C1.
I wanna find out which value in A1 that makes C1>B1 . That means not manually testing values in A1.
I've no idea, you need a macro for this? Because the IF-function doesn't seem to help for this, or?

Best way to do that is to use a little algebra.

What's the formula you're using and I'll re-arrange it for you.

BETALNING means payment, I don't know if that's what the function is called in English. I haven't found any list with Swedish-English function translations (it sucks I can't use English functions in Swedish Excel).
It's at least the function where you enter loan, % and for how many years.

These are the ones that are to be compared (minus just so I don't get minus in the answer, didn't found any other way to fix it):
    =B24-BETALNING($B$17;$B$18;$B$16)
    and
    =$B$7*$B$6

It's the last one I want to get bigger.
B7 is linked to B3. It's in only B3 I enter the value. It's the max value in B3 I seek.

    B24 contains a cell that's linked to B3 too.
    =B22*B23

    B23 is linked to B3.

Maybe a bit too confusing. Don't think it'd help much posting the Excel-file as it's in Swedish.
