open my stored data in the c drive just by typing the student id number on the main t

Hello I am new to this site, I tryed to google my problem, but not sure if it could be possible. I run a small class and I use excel to store all my student data in there. I was wondering if it is possiable to open my stored data in the c drive just by typing the student id number on the main tamplet cell.

    Thanks

    Hi Luqman

You should give more detail about the data in drive C and in which file it is? Is it in Excel file?
You should attach sample file of your data.

    Hi Luqman

Depending on what you want and how it is stored, you may well be able to do this using VLOOKUP.

If you can provide more specific information, I'm sure you will get an answer.
