Markup - Removing the viewing of Markups

    Hello,
How do I get Excel to NOT show the Markup's when I launch a spreadsheet?

By default it always loads on some spreadsheets and I don't want to always have to select View > Markup to remove the viewing of the Markup's.

    Thank you

What do you mean by Markups - is it a column, a sheet a named range?

Let me see if I can explain better....

Under Menu > View > Markup
This Markup turns on by default will I load some, not all, docs.
I would like to know how to disable that default setting, so docs load with the Markup NOT visible.

I believe Markup is directly related to comments or tracked changes in a doc.

    Thank you

What version of Excel are you using?

I assume you have 2007 as I do not have Markup under the View menu

Yes, it is Word I was referring to. I'll post elsewhere.

BTW does anyone know of a good Word Forum? Wordtip.com seems to be having DB issues.

    Thanks
