Changing column width

Hi. Sorry if this is an asinine question but how can I change the width of a column starting half way down a document without changing the width of the first bit? I am trying to merge files from two templates into a single document and they are formatted differently with the info in the A column spread between the A and B columns starting half way. I just want to get them roughly the same size.

Hi,

I do not know your constraints ... but you cannot change a column width ...
partially ... it is always the whole which is set ...

Now, you can always cheat by using merged cells in a targeted way ...
