    Design a page

    hi,
i am haveing a master sheet containing the record of 50 employees. With the
help of links u can visit to individual sheets. If i want to visit Mr. X then
i will use the link, right after that i will be in the Sheet of Mr. X. know
here i will be displaying the information available about Mr. X in the
    following format:

    Name : Educational
    Qualifications:

    Date of joining :

    Total Experiance : Etc....

now here i will be again providing links in the same sheet to

GO BACK TO MASTER, SALARY (WILL BE SHOWING LAST 3INCREMENTS),

GRAPH'CAL PRASENTAION OF HIS FINANCIAL GROWTH ETC.

AND AGAIN ALL THE LINK WILL BE INTER LINKED

IS THIS IS THE BETTER WAY TO DESIGN OR ANY ONE CAN GIVE ME SOME

BETTER PRASENTAION ? AND WHAT I WILL HAVE TO DO IF I WANT TO

INSERT PICTURE OF THAT PARTICULAR EMPLOYEE IN HIS SHEET?

    THANKS
    aNIRUDDHa

    RE: Design a page

This sounds like as good an approach to it as any. The main point is whether
or not it works comfortably for you and your users.

On the individual pages you might consider this: Put 'standard' links to
other places at the top of the sheet, then click on a cell below the rows
taken up by your links and choose
    Window | Freeze Panes
and then those links will always be visible and available even if you have
to scroll way down the page to read everything about a person.

Yes you can insert photographs of the people into the worksheets - click a
cell where you want it to show up and from the menu bar use
Insert | Picture | From File
and then find the picture. But this will make your workbook very large.
You might consider just putting a hyperlink to the photo(s) on the sheet with
text something like "Click for Photo". Then when the link is clicked the
picture will open up for viewing without making your workbook huge. If you
are going to distribute this workbook, make sure your links can be reached by
all users you will distribute it to.
