Excel is not responding.

I installed Excel, but it is not responding at all. Also on the left side of
the screen, it shows a list of "Document Recovery" . Help!

If there is a "close" option at the bottom right of the "Document Recovery" list, try clicking that and going from there?

Thank you for your response. But once I open the Excel, I cannot do anything
because it is not responding. Also same thing happned on Word.
