IsPossible to rename header ABCD row?

Hi,

I know it's a silly question, but...
Is it possible to rename the header row in Excel, so that there would be sth else than A B C D E ... ?

Well, I guess you could turn on R1C1 reference style.
It's at Tools > Options, General tab.

They can be made to dissappear.......Tools > Options > uncheck
RowAndColumnHeadings...........but to what end? What are you trying to do?
Tell us more and there may be a better solution........

Thank you for your replies. I was 99% sure it's not possible (or has sense either), so now I can tell my client this is an absurd idea
