Well, I guess you could turn on R1C1 reference style.
It's at Tools > Options, General tab.
They can be made to dissappear.......Tools > Options > uncheck
RowAndColumnHeadings...........but to what end? What are you trying to do?
Tell us more and there may be a better solution........
