Can stop excel from converting value to date?

Hi , i have a problem that when ever i copy from a website for score result ,example 2-1 , excel will convert it to date format . Is there a way for me to stop excel from doing so?

Try formatting the cell as text before doing the paste.

I have try changing the coloum as text before pasting but it still convert to date format.

Can anyone help?
