It's driving me crazy. I can't get columns to unhide after hiding them.
I have to go to the "select all" and then drag the columns open. It said
something in Help about a column going to zero. How do I stop that so the
UNHIDE will work?
Thanks!

Hi Susan
if you have hidden columns C & D for example so you see A, B, E, F....
select the column letter B and drag across to E
then right mouse click on B (or E) and choose unhide
alternatively, if you really get stressed about hiding / unhiding columns
you can use grouping instead, say you want to hide column C & D again
select C drag across to the D and choose data / Group & OUtline / Group
you're notice a little - above the letter E, click on it, C&D disappear to
get them back click on the +
i like this second method for where i'm hiding & unhiding the same columns
(or rows) regularly.

If I hide columns A:G and want to unhide only E, I do this:
Edit|Goto (or ctrl-g or F5)
type in E1
Format|column|unhide.
If I wanted to unhide c:e, I'd type: C1:E1.

Assuming your column C is hidden..........
Left-click on the B at the top of that column and hold the left mouse swith
down and drag the cursor over to also highlight column D. Then Right-click
somewhere in the highlighted area and select Unhide............or, do Format
> Columns > Unhide.
