    Custom Lists Dialogue Box

Hello. When i am going to Custom Lists... section and press the button, the dialogue box don't show up and excel remains in the same section. I understood that something was wrong because i tried to make a simple number list, 1 to 10. I wrote number 1 and to the below cell number 2. When i marked both cells and try to auto-fill it the excel just copy the numbers. Any information about why this is happening?
    Thank you

    Welcome to the forum.

As advised in the yellow banner at the top of this page, providing a sample workbook is a good idea.

HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK: Fast answers need clear examples. Post a small Excel sheet (not a picture) showing realistic & representative sample data WITHOUT confidential information (10-20 rows, not thousands) and some manually calculated results. For a new thread (1st post), scroll to Manage Attachments, otherwise scroll down to GO ADVANCED, click, and then scroll down to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and click again. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen. Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. The sample layout accurately matches that of your real data. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

Type 1 into A1 and 2 into A2 > select both cells > drag down using the little box bottom right in A2. Works fine for me in 365 (I don't have 2019).

What do you have selected in the autofill menu? There's an icon to the right of the bottom cell in your filled range - you should select Fill Series.

    Re: Custom Lists Dialogue Box

What does it say if you select JUST rhe first 5 and 10 before starting to fill down? It works fine for me. Try the other options - Copy Cells is NOT wnat you want!

Read post #7, please. You won't get that with Copy Cells. It works fine for me.

    Re: Custom Lists Dialogue Box

I choose the cells with number 5 and number 10. Normally it would auto-fill it correctly with +5 to each next cell. To my computer just copy the numbers 5 and test and paste them as you see in my picture. I don't know where to go and see any settings that may cause this problem.

Also there is NO "Feel series" order in the menu like in your photo. I don't know why

I can't replicate the problem so I am afraid I cannot assist further. Have you actually tried the other options as I suggested? What happens when you do? Fill without formatting, for example?

I don't think we're going to be able to solve this for you. If you had a newer version of Excel, you could use the SEQUENCE() function.

I did what you said and just copy-paste again.
It's ok. Thank you very much for your time.
