Hello,
Me and my colleague use Excel each one on its own PC. When we open the same file on them, export a table, and import it into Adobe Illustrator, the row height comes out slightly different on each PC so that the whole table differs in up to 1 cm in height.
Both PCs have the Windows, Excel and Illustrator versions installed.
We have tried all options with exporting as seen on screen, as seen when printed etc. We have set all excel options exactly identically.
We've tried it all and still the table comes out different. This happens with ALL files.
The screen resolution is the same on both PCs, but the monitors we use are of different sizes (don't know if this has something to do) so the area visible on screen with the same zoom level is different.
I have also noticed that the Page Break Preview doesn't sets the page break lines on the same places on both PC's. But adjusting them manually doesn't fix the problem.
How can we fool Excel into thinking we have the same sized monitor, if this is causing the problem?
If not, what else can it be?
Please help me with any ideas, I'm going crazy!
