Showing a blank cell when no data is used. Or showing a blank cell formula unused

So i need a formula that gives me an answer, but, remains blank if the cells are giving the formula no data to compute. Please see below. This is how far i have gotten, but, i need to add something that says if no entries/no results:

    =if(and(l13>3,m13>3,n13>3),"q","u")

THIS WORKS GREAT AS IT SHOWS ME TRUE/FALSE (OR Q/U)

    BUT -

WHEN I HAVE BLANK ENTRIES IN THOSE 3 CELLS, IT SHOWS ME "U" WHEN I NEED IT TO SHOW NOTHING AT ALL.

    Re: Lots of varaibles!

Unfortunately, your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.

Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

To change a Title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

Thread title now changed - thank you!

    Try

    =IF(COUNT(L13:N13),if(and(l13>3,m13>3,n13>3),"q","u"),"")

Thank you so much. When I typed that in and hot return - it came back #NAME

Which I'm not sure where the error would be.....
