Problem is a simple one, but one that I haven't found the solution to yet.
Below is my data set:
0.087 0.175 0.262 0.349 0.436 0.524 0.611
1.711 1.716 1.719 1.731 1.740 1.763 1.779
When I graph the data and then fit a trend-line/curve to it I get a confusing result.
The data looks fairly parabolic and a polynomial curve fits quite well, but a power trend-curve results in this equation:y = 1.7768x^0.0187
Why is the exponent less than 1? Is there anyway I can force fit it to something closer?
