    Monthly Rebate Model

Tier Starting Revenue Ending Revenue Rebate (%)
    1st $0 $500,000 0%
    2nd $500,001 $1,000,000 1%
    3rd $1,000,001 $2,000,000 2%
    4th $2,000,001 $5,000,000 3%
    5th $5,000,001 No Cap 4%

The current model for the Monthly Rebate for my company is based on the above table for an Accumulated Rebate –
For Example – for monthly revenue of $3.3M, the rebate calculation is - $500K*0%+$500K*1%+$1M*2%+$1.3M*3% = $64K

Is there a formula that can do this in excel?

    Re: Monthly Rebate Model

hi there. assuming 3.3M in A5, try:
    =SUMPRODUCT(--(A5>{0,500000,1000000,2000000,5000000}),--(A5-{0,500000,1000000,2000000,5000000}),{0,0.01,0.01,0.01,0.01})
