Auto-Populate Rows from One Sheet to Another Within Same Workbook Based on Criteria

I'm attempting to organize our Master Sheet of development contacts in a way that populates Segment Sheets based on a particular column criteria, such as Top 50 (Q), Board (P), Major Giving (R), Annual Giving (S), etc. I want to be able to add new contacts (rows) or update existing contacts in the master page, and have the Segment Sheets auto-populate based on those changes. Would I need to use a macro, or is there a formula which will do this for me?

I've uploaded the master sheet for reference.

    Thanks in advance!Master Sheet Update.xlsx

    Hi,

Difficult to comment with any certainty since you don't explain what details you want to see on the analysis sheet,
However have you considered a Pivot Table?

I'm not looking for analysis. Basically I'm using the Master Sheet as a list of all contacts, but want other sheets in the workbook to be populated with contact information (Columns A through N) from the Master Sheet based on a critera from Columns P through AD. If contact information such as addresses or phone numbers were updated in the master sheet, or if new contacts were added, those cells would also update in the other sheets.

Example: Sheet 3 would be all contacts who attended our 2013 Showcase (Column Z)

    Hi,

I wouldn't agree you're not analysing data. This is precisely what you are doing.

I've added an example pivot table where you can see that in the Report filter area I've added the Showcase 2013 Attendees as an example. You can of course drag and drop other column labels in there for your other requirements, e.g Top 50, Major Giving etc.

I've only added a selection of the column A:N contact information, but of course you can freely drag and drop all of them should you wish.

Being a Pivot table it is of course a lot more flexible than this simple example. You really need to pay around with them to find out how useful they are.
