    Conditional Formatting with date's

    how to make conditional formatting to the columns of SAB and DOM to change their color?

    Hello Birnen,

    I have assumed that you want columns SAB and DOM to change color if Cell Y5 and Cell AA5 respectively are Empty. If any Data would appear in any of those Cells mentioned, any of those specific Column/s will show no Color.

    Please see the attached sample Workbook.

    Is that what you want?

    is not quite it.

    SAB equals Saturday and DOM equal to Sunday.

    my problem is that I am not able to place well in furmula conditional formatting. or such a:

    = WEEKDAY (E $ 4) = 1 or = WEEKDAY (E $ 4) = 7 for the entire table. for Saturday and Sunday when the conditional formatting to color fill the respective columns.

    Here is the map that I have been doing. to open the map you can see that the columns of Saturday and Sunday only one with this color and I need you to be both.

    day of the week with this function.
