Allow other users of protected spreadsheet to set viewing panes

I have a spreadsheet with 10 columns which has data protection set to prevent users from updating this data. The next 10 columns are for the user to update any changes to the information. Is it possible to allow a user to set the viewing panes so that they can see both sets of data while the spreadsheet is protected.

    Hi,

Are you referring to Freezing frames.

In any case you can unlock the columns of cells in which you do permit entries then switch on sheet protection.
