    Inventory Mangement - Barcode Scanner

So I have searched and read the other topics about this. It is all over my head for sure.

The topic I found most helpful was this one:
    http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...ode-input.html

Also this one looks REALLY nice but trying to sort out how to make this work:
    http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-q...scanner-3.html

His sheet mostly does what I am looking for.

I have a list of Products, with Product name, SKU numbers, Barcode numbers and quanity. I want to scan items out and in (sold or ordered in) which his form does. The main difference is I want to be able to set "Sell" or "Stock" mode and leave that as a toggle without having to click Add or Subtract buttons each time.

So in other words. During the days I don't receive any stock I would set it to "Sell" Mode. Scanning an item would find that barcode and subtract one from the stock.

NOW, after thinking about that I realized it wouldn't be possible as I need the input boxes to pop up for the forumals and such to work.

So my alternative solution would be just to be able to scan in more than one item at a time. Maybe scanning the item, hitting OK, then the dialog pops back up so I can keep scanning items? A second end button to end the dialogue box?

So lost. I was going to buy a scanner that came with software but realized I could use excel and just get a cheap barcode scanner.

Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to learn and figure it out on my own as always..but am a complete newbie when it comes to VBA and formulas.

    Thanks!

    Edit:
I am adding the file I currently use. What I do now is that I just hand write down any items sold throughout the day. At the end I go into this form and I subtract manually how many I sold. On the right it tells me how many to order based on my Full Stock number (Stock to)

What I need is to be able to Scan a barcode and it automatically removes 1 from that item in the list. Also ability to subtract would be helpful but not necessarily required because when I order I always order to my stock to values, so normally once my order is placed I just reset the form (which is why there is a reset button). This would work since I do this daily..

Thanks again. I will keep looking at it meanwhile.
