I hav pull down for this AA,BB,CC,DD (Used Data Validation List Option).Now i want to Select this 'AA' means that '1' Should be come into that my column..For this any option is there in Excel 2010? Please see the attached Image.

Am selecing AA means 1 should be come.
Am selecing BB means 2 should be come.
I'm assuming you have one drop down with AA,BB,CC & DD as options, if so an if statement would suffice.
=IF(F7="AA",1,IF(F7="BB",2,IF(F7="CC",3,4)))
F7 would be the cell with the drop down list
I have created the pull down for this AA,BB...After that i want to apply this Fourmla? Can you tell how to use this formula after making the list option? Bcoz it not wrking.I have tried..It showing the error Where ever AA and BB in formula..

I don't see a problem with the formula you were given. Seems to me the problem could be with something else, maybe with how things are set-up, or with what you have in your Workbook.
Instead of an image, could you please upload a sample of your Workbook, for us to have a look at?

Thanks for the feedback.
I chose to solve your problem with VBA. Right click on the Sheet Tab, and then click on "View Code". It will open the VBE, and should display the Code. You could quite easily change it to suit your exact requirements.
